Mon, Nov 21 - Wiring the Craft Room Pt. 3 (Wiring the Exterior Walls)
The next part of this project is gonna be a challenge. Two walls in that craft room are field stone exterior walls. I need to install outlets at waist height on those irregular walls. I considered several ways to do the work, I'm gonna try the following technique:
I'll attach the outlets to pieces of wood hanging from the ceiling. A crude image of my idea:
Possible disadvantages:
- bespoke ceiling attachment configs
- verticals may be too wobbly at waist height
Possible advantages:
- run conduit along the horizontal between outlets - save time and $$
- attach shop dust collection plumbing to the vertical boards just above the horizontal runner
I'll know more about this approach after I do some testing.
